Access Film Club
Glasgow Film Theatre, together with Scottish Autism and The National Autistic Society Scotland, is delighted to host a monthly film club which includes a screening and post-film discussion in a welcoming and accessible environment. For people with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, learning disabilities or difficulties in processing information, a relaxed environment can be the best way to enjoy a film.
The film is screened with no adverts or trailers, slightly reduced noise levels and the LED stair lights in the cinema stay lit throughout. Afterwards individuals can take part in a group discussion about the screening hosted by a facilitator. The club is suitable for young people and adults aged 15 and over.
Access Film Club takes place on the second Tuesday of the month at Glasgow Film Theatre at 6pm on Rose Street, Glasgow. Tickets cost £5.50 and can either be purchased in advance from the Glasgow Film Theatre website or on the night.
