Our Central Area Services were recently reviewed by the Care Inspectorate and we are really happy to say that we received some excellent grades!

The inspection looked at our day services, supported living and outreach and all services were awarded a grade 6 (excellent) for Quality of Care and Support and for Quality of Staffing, and a grade 5 (very good) for Quality of Management and Leadership.

The report stated, “This is an excellent service. The whole service was built round understanding the implications of autism for each person, how best to support that person, and through experience to continually reflect on what was working well, and what needed to change, to enable them to live a fulfilled life.

“The people we met were very happy in the service and were supported very sensitively by familiar staff. People were supported by staff who were enthusiastic, committed and who understood the need to support people's dignity and choice. The staff used person centred values that promoted independence and choice for people using the service.”

We are thrilled with this result, something we couldn’t have achieved without the hard work and commitment of all our staff who dedicate themselves to enriching the lives of those we support.
