Family Fun Day
At the weekend we held our Family Fun Day at New Struan School. It was great to see so many pupils and their families come along as well as some staff.
There were lots of fun things going on, including our first time having Spider Mountain – a big slide that you have to climb through web-like levels to get to the top. Zoolab came along with their animals, which included a tortoise, snake, cockroaches and spiders! There was also a throw the wet sponge stand, a beat the goalie session and an inflatable assault course.
The local mountain rescue and fire brigade teams also kindly donated their time to bring their vehicles along for us to explore – having a shot using the fire hose was particularly popular with the children.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along, especially our Parent Ambassador Janice and her family for helping to organise such a wonderful day!
