Event Information

Connections is a brand new information, advice and support hub in Dundee. As part of the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership, Connections provides information and support for adults who identify as autistic, at any point of your journey. Connections’ Community Advisors provide advice and support to autistic people with or without a diagnosis, either in person or virtually.

Our Connect groups provide a supportive environment where you can meet with others, share experiences and seek advice.

Within the comfort of Scottish Autism's Connections premises, two unique groups will meet and run at the same time. One space is a social gathering for autistic adults and the other group is a space for Parents and Carers of autistic adults.

  • Our space for autistic adults (18+) is a social gathering where activities will be led by the interests of those attending. This is an autistic safe space, and a member of the Connections team will be available to offer guidance during this time should anyone require this.
  • Our parents and carers of autistic adults group provides an opportunity for networking and support, but also for initiating helpful discussion around a range of topics and themes. A member of the Connections team will be present to offer perspectives and advice to parents and carers who attend.

We recommend contacting Connections prior to attending our Connect groups so that we can ensure a comfortable space for all attending. To find out more or book to attend, please email us at dundeeconnections@scottishautism.org or call 03030 034 020.
