Event Information

This online programme aims to provide continued professional learning opportunities to a range of practitioners across education, health and social care. Each session will run virtually as a half day from 9.30am - 12.30pm and participants are able to book into individual sessions of interest or block book sessions for a discounted rate. All sessions will take place via Zoom.

Understanding autism as a development difference and how atypical development may influence the way in which a child interacts and processes the world around them is fundamental to ensuring all children can aspire and achieve within any education setting.  In this session we will share learning from our education service that has informed our practice. Furthermore we will show that developing practice in this area is fundamental to improving a child’s educational experience.

Speaker:  Autism Advisor from the Autism Advice Team and Lucy Chetty, Head Teacher at New Struan School
