Event Information

This online programme aims to provide continued professional learning opportunities to a range of practitioners across education, health and social care. Each session will run virtually as a half day from 9.30am - 12.30pm and participants are able to book into individual sessions of interest or block book sessions for a discounted rate. All sessions will take place via Zoom.

Autism has, up until very recently, been believed to be more common in males than in females. There is much greater awareness of girls and women now as our knowledge and understanding grow and evolve. In the session  Dr Catriona Stewart will explore what an inclusive education setting for autistic girls may look like and how best to support girls who may be experiencing stress, anxiety and other mental health conditions preventing them from reaching their full potential.

Speaker:  Dr Catriona Stewart, Scottish Women’s Autism Network (SWAN)

9:30am to 12:30pm
