The webinar will explore different perspectives and include teachers, senior leaders, associated professionals and parents. Pre-recorded presentations will provide insight into the issues affecting autistic school educators as well as the strengths and benefits they bring to a school. The webinar is suitable for all school staff, parents of autistic children and young people and others involved in their education.
There will also be a live Q&A session, with a panel of autistic school staff and other presenters.

The Autistic School Staff Project (ASSP) aims to understand better the experiences and needs of autistic education staff in range of roles in schools: teachers, teaching assistants, SENCos, deputy Head teachers, Head teachers etc., and visiting professionals. The project is underpinned by two key principles: 1. To facilitate diversity and inclusion across the school community 2. To support the rights of school staff members to equality of access and inclusion in the workplace.
