Meet the Host

Kirsten Duncan
Kirsten is neurodivergent and lives and works in the Scottish Highlands, drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes of mountains, sea, and coastal wildlife. In addition to painting on canvas and paper, she creates art on wood, slate, and stones collected from the remote island where she lives, off the west coast.
She recently studied painting, printmaking, drawing, and illustration at the University of the Highlands and Islands, where she enjoyed experimenting with different media, colour, and techniques. In the summer months, Kirsten sells her art and crafts in a small island shop.
