Amina has been teaching Yoga and Meditation for 9 years and has a special focus on diversity and inclusion.
She blends gentle movement with breath work and relaxation techniques to provide a calming experience, whilst adding in some educational elements to help people understand how to look after their bodies and minds.
She holds a certificate in Mindfulness Meditation Teaching from Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and has practiced Mindfulness techniques, herself, for many years. Amina has worked with a wide range of people, and enjoys taking a flexible, person-centred approach to teaching. As a neurodivergent person, Amina is interested in exploring how Yoga and Mindfulness can be adapted to accommodate anyone and everyone and is always willing to take suggestions and learn more. She is also a qualified Psychotherapist for Children and Young People to gain a deeper understanding of the kinds of challenges people face, and how to take a holistic approach in addressing them.
