Volunteering
Volunteer with us
Use your time to transform lives across Scotland.
Whether you have an hour, a day, or a whole week free, monthly volunteering helps us run services smoothly and has a direct impact on the lives of autistic people and their families. Volunteering with us is a way to give back to your local community and make meaningful change in Scotland.
Be the change you want to see in Scotland
Our charity is made up of brilliant people, dedicated to inclusivity across Scotland. And we want you to be a part of that.
There’s a place for everyone at Scottish Autism. From helping in our sensory spaces and leading social groups to marketing and IT support, we have volunteering opportunities for every skill set. Are you an event planning superstar, ready to make our fundraising events unforgettable? Or do you have a green thumb and gloves at the ready to help maintain our community gardens?
Why volunteer with us?
Becoming one of our volunteers allows you to connect with your community and better understand the needs of autistic people. It can also help improve social skills and combat loneliness, allowing you to meet people from all walks of life.
Each of our opportunities are flexible and tailored to fit your schedule. We also offer training and ongoing support to all our volunteers. You’ll forever be part of our family.
Just a little bit of your time can have a big impact on someone’s life.
“It was great. The people at Thistles were so nice and I think really pleased with the work!”
Kimberly Bell, Energy and CSR Analyst at OCS
