Fayre to say it was a success!
Pupils have been working exceptionally hard preparing for the Christmas Fayre which took place in the school yesterday. As well some Christmas themed jewellery, clay candle holders and sparkling tree decorations there was a lot of delicious home baking on sale! Friends and family also had the opportunity to guess the number of sweets in the jar and some were lucky enough to win some fantastic raffle prizes!
The fayre ties in with this term’s theme which is ‘social enterprise’. As well as having a lot of fun and learning skills whilst baking and producing crafts, selling items has helped the pupils to learn about the exchange of money for goods and the role of a stall holder.
Speaking about the day, Head Teacher Jasmine Miller said: “Pupils worked so hard preparing for the Fayre, it was great day for all involved. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us.”
