Looking for ideas?
Get one of our new Wallace Wanders packs - a toolkit for teachers to create a fun way of engaging pupils in a fundraising walk for Scottish Autism.
This pack includes an introduction to Scottish Autism and offers suggestions on ways to get the whole school involved in walking for autism. By taking on a Wallace Wanders event, this will promote exercise amongst pupils and gives the opportunity to introduce relevant discussions in the classroom.
Not only this but it will encourage children to participate in fundraising for a great cause, while making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for all involved.
If you would like to be sent a free information pack, please email fundraising@scottishautism.org or call 01259 720044.
We are building our network of student fundraisers and would love your support! Get one of our brand new Student Fundraising Guides - a resource for students to be creative and organise their own fundraising event for Scottish Autism.
This guide introduces Scottish Autism and offers ideas and guidelines for fundraising for us. The resource also includes a timetable to aide preparations for your event, making it an easy and enjoyable experience for all.

More inspiration!
Park Mains High School
A few of pupils from the Language and Communication base at Park Mains High School put their talents to action. They made some spooky Halloween crafts to sell and raised and amazing £130.
The team kindly chose to donate these funds to Scottish Autism and we couldn't be more grateful for the support.
Carronshore Primary School
All the staff and pupils at Carronshore Primary School in Falkirk, took part in organising their very own Wallace Wanders adventure using our free pack. On their fundraising walk day, our Scottish Autism mascot was there to greet pupils before they set off, with an amazing total of £2,200 being raised!
What a phenomenal achievement - thank you to everyone involved.
Southdale Primary School
Southdale Primary School in Armadale, held a fun filled ‘Colour Run’ fundraiser during Autism Awareness month. The colourful event seen staff and pupils walk, skip or run the course whilst getting hit by Mr Smith with water and paint – how fun does that sound?
These fundraising superstars even got recognition from parliament for their amazing effort in raising almost £1,200 for Scottish Autism.
A huge thank you to all the team at Southdale Primary and everyone that supported the event!
Obsdale Primary School

Staff and pupils from Obsdale Primary School in Inverness held a Spring Fayre to raise funds for us. The event was packed with everything from an obstacle course to stalls full of delicious treats and toys.
One of the pupils wrote to tell us there was even a special guest unicorn involved, where participants had to guess it's name and pin the tail back on!
Thanks to everyone's contributions on the day, an amazing total of £500 was raised.
High School of Dundee
Scottish Autism was selected as the charity to benefit from their Autumn Concert which was held in Dundee's Caird Hall, performed by pupils aged 7 to 18 years old.
Performers included the school's Symphonic Band, Concert Band, the Sinfonia, and the school's five choirs. They raised over £820.
