Health, safety and wellbeing

At Scottish Autism, health and safety means more than rules and compliance, it is about creating a respectful and safe working environment that supports the wellbeing of everyone. We work individually with every single member of our team to understand what they need to flourish and grow, ensuring that they feel comfortable enough to raise any queries and concerns.

Our goal is simple – to help you reach your full potential, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of autistic people across Scotland.

Support that starts at home

We strive to create an inclusive, collaborative environment that allows everyone to feel seen and heard. Our approach to health and safety

Like other policies within our organisation, our approach to health and safety is built on lived experience. Risk assessments are designed with this in mind, ensuring safety decisions are inclusive and informed. We work closely with those affected by specific risks to find solutions that work for everyone. And with the help of our health and safety committee, we are constantly reviewing our approach and ensuring our standards stay high.
