Social Connections @ Forest School in the Park

This group is for autistic adults in Dundee, at any point during their diagnosis journey, including those who self-identify as autistic. Connections also support those in Perth and Angus who are awaiting an autism assessment through the Tayside Adult Autism Consultancy Team (TAACT).
If you have not had contact with our Dundee Connections team previously please contact us by emailing dundeeconnections@scottishautism.org or call 03030 034 020 prior to booking. Join Dundee Connections @ Forest School in the Park.
Join us for Forest School in the Park, a fun and hands‑on opportunity to explore nature‑based activities in the beautiful setting of Douglas Community Park. Whether you’re curious about forest school or keen to try something new outdoors, this session offers a relaxed and welcoming introduction.
You’ll have the chance to safely cut your own wood cookies to create decorations or coasters, help build a fire, and cook bread over the flames. We’ll also have a go at learning a few simple knots that can be used for shelter‑building.
Come along to enjoy time outdoors, build new skills, and connect with nature in a supportive, friendly environment.
Please meet by the Christmas tree in the park for an 11am start.
The 28 bus service connects us to the city centre every 15 minutes, and the 10 bus service connects us to Ninewells, going across the north of the city.
Please advise us of any support needs or reach out to us at dundeeconnections@scottishautism.org or call 03030 034 020 if you have any questions about attending the group.
Numbers attending the groups are limited to ensure a comfortable space for all therefore booking is essential. Please click the button below to register to attend.
