Social Connections @ Creative Workshop

This group is for autistic adults in Dundee, at any point during their diagnosis journey, including those who self-identify as autistic. Connections also support those in Perth and Angus who are awaiting an autism assessment through the Tayside Adult Autism Consultancy Team (TAACT).
If you have not had contact with our Dundee Connections team previously please contact us by emailing dundeeconnections@scottishautism.org or call 03030 034 020 prior to booking.
This is a welcoming and inclusive space where you can connect with others, explore shared interests, and enjoy getting creative together.
Individuals are encouraged to express themselves using any creative medium they feel drawn to – whether that’s art, music, poetry, crafting or another form of expression. While a range of materials and ideas will be available for inspiration, you’re free to follow your own style, interests and creative direction.
As part of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to create a visual representation of what Dundee Connections means to you. This can reflect your personal journey and progression since first engaging with the service. You can choose to work individually or collaborate with others, making it a shared and meaningful creative experience.
Please note, we hope to use these pieces to create a mural for display within the service; if you have any concerns or queries about this please discuss with the group facilitator or reach out to an advisor at Dundee Connections.
Please advise us of any support needs or reach out to us at dundeeconnections@scottishautism.org or call 03030 034 020 if you have any questions about attending the group.
Numbers attending the groups are limited to ensure a comfortable space for all therefore booking is essential. Registration will be open on Friday 3rd July.
