Autistic Adults Peer Support Network

Hosted by

Angela, Peer Support Worker
Angela joined Scottish Autism in December 2025 as a Peer Support Worker. She has had a varied career including as a professional musician, self-advocacy worker for young people with disabilities, after-school drama teacher, and primary school teacher. Angela enjoys research and deep dives on many topics of interest, sharing knowledge around neurodiversity, inclusion and accessibility, and helping ensure people have a voice.

“I feel very lucky to have this new collaborative role in both Scottish Autism and the NHS. Being able to be a bridge between the two as a peer support worker helps ensure that people feel supported and that autistic voices are heard, at every stage on a person’s autism journey.”
