Social Connections @ Dundee Ceramics Workshop
Dundee Connections have collaborated with Dundee Ceramics Workshop to offer this introductory workshop to making ceramics.
Dundee Ceramics Workshop is a volunteer led space offering facilities, classes, tuition and kiln hire for ceramics artists and enthusiasts.
Please note: individuals will need to be able to attend both dates to participate in these sessions.
Sessions overview
- In the first session participants will be taught hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coil building, and slab building.
- The second session is a decorating class where participants will use underglaze and glaze to finish off the pieces that were made in the first session.
We would recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting messy as we will be working with clay.

Kirstin joined the team in April 2026, bringing an academic background in psychology and experience in mental health support. Kirstin centres compassion and believes in supporting people’s independence, working collaboratively to navigate challenges effectively.
