North Area Services Outreach Support
About North Area Services Outreach Support
We provide tailored support to autistic and neurodivergent children, adults, and their families across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Highlands, and Moray.
Support is delivered at times that work best for each individual and can take place within the family home, local community, or educational and employment settings. Individuals also have access to our local bases in Dingwall, Fochabers, and Aberdeen.
We also offer short break services for families, with support provided either in the family home or at a location chosen by the family.
Our outcome-focused support is individually designed around each person’s unique needs, strengths, and aspirations. We work closely with the individual, their family, and other important people in their life to develop and deliver support that is clearly reflected in their personalised Support Plan.
Aberdeen Playscheme and Afterschool Support
A unique sensory and neurodivergent inclusive environment to meet the individual and sensory needs of autistic and neurodivergent children and young people from ages 4 to 18 years.
Binky the Sensory Bus
The first, and as far as we know the only, double decker sensory bus in Scotland, if not in the whole of the UK, offering a unique and specialised mobile sensory environment by a trained team. We offer free sensory support on Binky the Sensory Bus to autistic and neurodivergent children and young people and their families, some with additional support needs, aged between 4 and 18 years old in the areas of Peterhead and Fraserbrugh.
