The Edinburgh Marathon Festival (EMF)

Since 2003, Edinburgh Marathon Festival runners have raised over £30 million for hundreds of amazing charities. If you’re looking for a reason to become a future EMF charity runner, then look no further! We'd love to have you on Team Scottish Autism. 

For 2021, the festival will take place virtually. There's multiple distances to choose from and your challenge can be completed in one day or over a few days - whatever you choose, we'd be delighted to have you on board!

Run The Blades

Run The Blades was a brand new event for 2017, now in its third year, it is held within the UK’s largest windfarm - Whitelee Windfarm.

With three distance levels to choose from, there is a trail for runners of all fitness levels.

Clyde Stride Ultra Marathon

All spaces have already been snapped up for 2021's Clyde Stride Ultra Marathon but check back here for future event info!

The 40 mile course provides the opportunity to race along the stunning Clyde Walkway - from the centre of Glasgow, through Hamilton, Strathclyde Park and on to Lanark.

*Please note that this event will be subject to government Covid-19 restrictions and successful entrants will be held on a waiting list until the event can be confirmed to proceed as planned.

The Scottish Half Marathon

The Scottish Half Marathon and 10k takes place just outside Edinburgh along the beautiful East Lothian coastline. The route is flat and fast, excellent for setting a personal best while raising funds for Scottish Autism. This is a great event for beginners and teams of varying levels. If you'd like to be part of Team Scottish Autism - we'd love to hear from you!

The Loch Ness Marathon

Loch Ness is one of the best-known destinations in the world. It's beautiful scenery, and the centuries-old mystery of the Loch Ness monster have attracted visitors from around the world.

The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and River Ness 10K are fast becoming two of the most popular events on the running calendar.

Sign up today for one of the most scenic events in Scotland, and raise money for Scottish Autism while doing so!

Great Scottish Run

You'll be cheered on by thousands of supporters lining the streets of Glasgow, music and bands on the run, charity cheering points... all to keep you motivated throughout your race - you'll also get your own medal. 

Choose between the half-marathon and the 10km and join Team Scottish Autism.

Men's/ Women's 10K

With its first event Men's 10K event taking place in Glasgow in 2004, these now established runs offer an individual experience for self-enhancement and success.

As a supporter, not only would you be raising awareness of autism, but you would be coming together with other men and women to shed light on mental health issues. That's double the reason to get involved!

Supernova Kelpies

Glow on this fantastic 5K run by night, under the magnificent mythical Kelpies sculpture in Falkirk.

Suitable for all the family, Supernova Kelpies allows everyone to get together and raise funds in a fun way during a fun light event! By digging out your fluorescent clothing and grabbing anything that glows or flashes, you will create a beautiful light event with everyone taking part, making it a night to remember!

Edinburgh Kilomathon

Kilomathon offers the alternative distances that other running events don't to try to push you a little out of your comfort zone?

With three events taking place across Edinburgh, there's something for everyone; why not take part in the Kilomathon 6.5K if you are already a 5K expert, or train for a half or full marathon by taking on the Kilomathon 13.1K.

There's even something for the kids in the Mini-Kilomathon, so get your little runners geared up to fundraising for Scottish Autism too!

Dog Jog

Going virtual for 2021, this fantastic event allows you and your canine companion to get some fresh air and exercise together while fundraising for Scottish Autism.

The Dog Jog Virtual Challenge is a unique jogging event for you and your dog to get fit and have fun together in the great outdoors. It's your challenge so you set the rules!

What’s more, once you complete your challenge, you’ll receive a fantastic Doggy Bag jam-packed with goodies for both you and your four-legged friend, as well as Dog Jog Collar Keyring medal.

Great Stirling Castle Run

Get your new year off to a great start by taking part in this winter challenge. The 7.4k multi-terrain 

course takes you around the scenic and historic city, passing the King’s Knot, Castle Canons, Heritage Trail Wood Carvings and of course, Stirling Castle, along the way.

Once you cross the finish line in King's Park, you will receive an exclusive medal!

What a brilliant way to beat the post-Christmas blues and get your fitness off to a great start for the year.

Falkirk Epic Trail 10K

Tough Runner UK are bringing their epic trail to Scotland for the first time - In 2020, the Falkirk Epic Trail 10K will take place in the stunning surroundings of Callendar House in Falkirk.

By waving the flag for Scottish Autism in this 10K race, you will be raising funds for a fantastic cause while taking on a winter challenge within the grounds of one of Scotland's historic jewels. What an unforgettable experience.
