Temporary Community Advisor – Dundee Connections

Connections is an information, advice and support hub for adults who identify as autistic, at any point of their journey. Providing 1:1 information and advice via phone, email or in person, peer support groups, as well as signposting and support to access other services and activities within the local area.

We are looking for a committed and motivated Community Advisor to join our team at Connections, Dundee. This is part of a test for change project in partnership with Dundee Health & Social Care Partnership and NHS Tayside, shaped by local autistic voices.

The autistic gentleman we support enjoys engaging in all kinds of activities in their local community such as swimming, walks, drives and arts and crafts. Working within a wider multi-disciplinary team, this role is an excellent opportunity to support someone to engage in activities they love and develop independence and new skills.
