Based on a story shared by Robin, a gentleman supported by our Fife services team, the new What’s Important to Me? storytelling series provides a platform for autistic people to share stories about the interests, passions, people, places and experiences that are meaningful to them. It might be a hobby, a favourite place, a treasured item, a pet, a friendship, aspirations about paid employment, going to college or university or something entirely unique.

Launching our new series is Robin himself, who shared something important to him with support from Senior Autism Practitioner, Carole:

“Robin’s holidays abroad are very important to him and are something he looks forward to throughout the year. He enjoys travelling, experiencing new places and trying new food, as it gives him a break from his usual daily activities.”

“Having a holiday abroad at least once a year is important to Robin’s wellbeing and gives him something to look forward to. Robin was keen to share some photos from his holiday to Corfu and his most enjoyable and memorable trip, his Mediterranean cruise.”
