Opportunities in Tayside
Our day service in Tayside gives adults with autism the opportunity to access a range of activities.
North Lindsay Street
Our Dundee service is located centrally in a recently renovated and specially adapted building that offers a range of facilities including an art room, sensory room, IT room, life skills kitchen and a large social area.
There is also a quieter area where individuals can focus on developing independent living skills as well as three individual rooms allowing for more personal space and relaxation. We enable individuals to access a variety of activities in the wider community and within the service either independently or as a group. All support offered in North Lindsay Street is person-centred and tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.
Our day service is delivered by a dedicated team of practitioners who receive regular autism-specific training. All of our day and vocational services are reviewed by the Care Inspectorate and full details of recent inspections can be found on their website: www.careinspectorate.com

In addition, they work to publicise the day. Giving individuals the chance to be closely involved can help to foster a sense of ownership while enabling them to develop organisational skills.
Last year’s event was a big success, with plenty of games such as rounders, Toss the Welly and Frisbee and a very popular barbecue.
