Team and Location

Our Team

We have a dedicated team of staff who are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver a quality and personalised autism service.

All staff members are registered with, or working towards registration with, the SSSC. They also follow a robust training programme providing the opportunities for continued learning and development necessary to maintain our high standards.

Each individual that comes to us will have a core team of staff involved in delivering their service, allowing them to build up a detailed understanding of the individual they are supporting. The core team will provide reports and conduct reviews throughout the placement involving family and other professionals.

Quality Assurance

We consistently achieve very positive feedback from the Care Inspectorate which is highlighted in the grades we are awarded. Scottish Autism is also committed to the Public Service Improvement Framework (PSIF) as a means of monitoring and evaluating our quality standards and ensuring continuous improvement.

Scottish Autism has been awarded the 'Recognised for Excellence' 3 star award from Quality Scotland which reflects our determination to develop the highest standards in leadership, management and service delivery.

Our Locations

New Ridgepark

Located in Lanark, New Ridgepark is easily accessible by rail or road from Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are eight placements available with people coming to us from all over Scotland.

Set in a Victorian house with extensive gardens offering peace and tranquillity, New Ridgepark is the ideal setting to encourage the development of new skills and prepare for the future.

Inside it is flexible in order to provide living accommodation which reflects a 'real' independent, domestic environment with a mixture of private and communal areas akin to an apartment block or student halls.

Clannalba

Located near Biggar, the Transitional Assessment Service at Clannalba offers a unique opportunity for individuals to live in a self-contained bungalow while receiving dedicated support.

Our two bungalows are in the grounds of our main respite and short breaks service each offering a comfortable, modern home providing the ideal setting to develop independent living skills in preparation for the next step in the life journey.
