Meet the host - Hanna O'Brien, Community Advisor

Hanna joined Scottish Autism in July 2024 as a Community Advisor based in the One Stop Shop after spending some time away from traditional employment to focus on family. With experience with NHS as a Paediatric Speech Therapist , Hanna enjoys helping others to reach their potential.

With lived experience of autism, Hanna has a keen interest specifically in supporting parents and carers of autistic people. She is passionate about educating others to ensure autistic people are included and heard in today's society. A busy household leaves little time for herself, but in her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking and walking with her dog.
