Event Information

Please note, this event is for parents only. Behaviour that challenges, violent outbursts and meltdowns can cause stress and put a strain on the entire family of a child on the autism spectrum. This seminar will offer practical and effective strategies to help resolve common behaviour that challenges using a low arousal approach - this is a non-aversive approach based on avoiding confrontation and reducing stress and anxiety. During the seminar you will hear from Linda Woodcock and Michael McCreadie about how families can manage different types of behaviour, such as physical aggression and self-injury, as well as explanations for these types of behaviours and how to manage stress.
