Clannalba re-opening in New Year

In the New Year, we will be re-opening our Clannalba service in Biggar, offering residential support for autistic adults.

Clannalba, which has seen its main house and adjacent chalets significantly refurbished, has been adapted to cater for ten autistic adults, providing them with a highly personalised residential support service.  The aim of this new service is to develop independent living skills and provide social engagement and community interaction opportunities for its residents with an outdoor gym and large mature gardens to enjoy.

Jackie Latto, Director of Autism Services at Scottish Autism, said:

“We’re delighted with the refurbishment of Clannalba, which has been transformed to provide much-needed residential services for autistic adults. The investment in this property signals our commitment to supporting autistic individuals through their whole life. The new service will offer the opportunity for residents to enjoy a comfortable independent living environment where they will be supported by experienced staff.”
