TOP GLASGOW HOTEL ANNOUNCES SCOTTISH AUTISM AS CHARITY OF THE YEAR

Luxury five-star Glasgow Hotel, Kimpton Blythswood Square, has announced Scottish Autism will be its charity partner for 2023.

Scottish Autism is Scotland's largest autism-specific charity and delivers a variety of specialist services across Scotland to enable autistic people to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

The partnership will see the five-star hotel host a series of events to raise vital funds for the charity throughout the year.

The hotel's Cluster Sales Manager, Karen McKeating, is a Scottish Autism Business Ambassador.

Commenting following the launch of the partnership, Charlene Tait Deputy CEO of Scottish Autism said:

"This is an exciting partnership between Scottish Autism and Kimpton Blythswood Square. To be selected as the charity partner for one of Scotland's most prestigious hotels is an enormous privilege for our organisation.

"We are particularly delighted to be teaming up with one of our Business Ambassadors. Karen has been a keen advocate for our organisation, and it is great to be able to work closely with her during this partnership.

"We are looking forward to working alongside the team at Kimpton Blythswood Square as they help raise vital funds which will enable us to continue to deliver services to benefit autistic people and their families across the length and breadth of Scotland.”

Kimpton Blythswood Square's General Manager, Mafalda Albuquerque, added:

“It’s a pleasure to launch our 2023 charity partnership with Scottish Autism; an organisation that’s very close to one of our colleague Karen McKeating’s hearts.

“We’re proud to support local organisations like Scottish Autism, who do exceptional work helping autistic people to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives, and we’re looking forward to working together on a series of fundraising events throughout the year to support the cause.”
