Another busy week and lots of fun ahead!

This week started off with some great yoga poses and everyone was very good at trying them out. The rock position was a yoga pose that you could curl into a ball, face down and stretching the arm of your back. Everybody was very still, just like a rock!

The twist was the other pose that everyone tried, it was a good way to stretch your body and wake you up on a Monday morning.

After yoga, Lucy said good morning to everyone as the mats were rolled up. Liam was very helpful with rolling up his mat, thank you Liam.

Attention Autism was next. What was in the bucket?

A spinning top! Jay, Liam and April all had a go at spinning the spinning top! When you were really really quiet, you could hear the spinning top making a low humming noise. The faster the spinning top got, the more the bright colours on it merged together. It was a very pretty pattern.

After the spinning top, a very fluffy yellow duck popped out to say hello! The duck made a noise too, but not a humming noise, it was a quacking noise. Jay, Alexander and Liam all listened.

Next, a dinosaur puppet was next to show from the bucket once the quacking duck said goodbye. It was a very scary green dinosaur and jay was first to show everyone, including his Cartoonitos. Liam also had a shot.

Next Lucy and Deborah created a lovely picture for Remembrance Day. There were different shades of long green paper for the grass and they both scattered red tissue paper for the poppies. April, Liam and Jay all took a turn to spread some poppies of the field of grass. The picture was very good when it was finished.

Look, Listen and Recap showed Kyran squished in the Fun House on Fireworks evening. His friends could hardly recognise him because he was squashed so much. Adam was playing tennis last Wednesday and Jura class were on the bikes cycling. There was a great picture of Kyran, Jay and Jack.

Then, Lucy gave a run through of the busy week ahead. On Tuesday there is the Farm. Wednesday Drama, Cycling and Animation. On Thursday there’s swimming and Trampolining as well as Children in Need day, where everyone will come into school with their pyjamas still on and with very messy hair. Friday, it’s music. Wow, what a busy week that is.

Drumroll please for the Star Awards…..

First up is Jack! He has been a very kind friend to Kyran and Jay.
Kyran! Who was a responsible role model to his friends Jack and Jay by holding hands walking to swimming.
Jay, who was also a caring friend to Jack and Kyran.
Well done boys, what great friends you all are.

Star baker goes to Adam! Well done Adam for making sausages for British Sausage week. Adam went to the supermarket and bought meat and fish.
