Christmas Market

New Struan School opened its doors to friends, family and members of the community for the annual Christmas Market on 12 December.

Pupils were delighted to sell their festive arts and crafts which included Christmas tree decorations and wreaths as well as trinket boxes and candle holders.

Jasmine Miller, Head Teacher, said: “The pupils have been really enjoying making the crafts in the lead up to Christmas and it was great to see the whole school get involved in the market. As well as raising money for charity, it proved to be an excellent learning opportunity to work on practical skills such as coin exchange.”

A total of £266 was raised on the day with the money going towards Christmas presents which will be donated to Cash for Kids in the Forth Valley.
