Festive Market
Last week we welcomed in family and friends for our annual Christmas Market. Each class had their own stall where they were selling items they had handmade themselves. From Christmas cards, decorations and glitter designed wine glasses to homemade yummy treats and even real hot chocolate, there was a lot to choose from.
The pupils all helped out on the day with some serving the visitors and others telling everyone about what they had been making. There was also a raffle with some great prizes.
By the end of the afternoon the stalls were looking very empty and the pupils were really happy with how popular the market had been. Afterwards, family and friends all gathered to enjoy a hot drink and mince pie before heading home with all their new goodies.
The Christmas Market this year raised over £300! Some of the profits will go back to the classes and the rest will be donated to charity, which will this year be Children with Cancer UK. A huge well done to all our pupils and staff for their hard work!
