At yoga this morning, we started off with the very tranquil, relaxing music as we curled into the Rock pose. David’s rock was great! Caine practiced the next move very well, the Lying Twist pose. And to finish off, the Cobra allowed everyone to have a big stretch, the perfect start to any Monday morning!
Once the mats were rolled up, we signed Good Morning to everyone.

What was in the bucket today? Let’s look and see…

                                                                                                                                    
A disco ball with lots of beautiful colours that moved round and round.

A monkey! At first the monkey seemed pretty shy, but soon we found that the monkey was very hyper, and a little bit rude, rolling its eye’s and Deborah thought it might have to calm down.

A very squidgy and very colourful caterpillar that Alexander, David, Ross and Benjamin all got to touch and see the bright colours. Benjamin noticed just how stretchy the caterpillar was…oops! 

Looking back at last week in Look, listen and Recap, we saw that in cooking class, Alexander was making shortbread and using his rolling skills to make it. Adam and Liam were both helping to make star shaped shortbread and Kyran’s picture of the very creative soldier shortbread dipped into chocolate and caramel, made everybody’s mouth water. Great job everyone!

Caine went to the Farm last Tuesday and had lots of fun. His favourite animal was the sheep.

What do we have to look forward to this week?
On Tuesday, we have our weekly trip to the farm to look forward to.
On Wednesday, it’s drama. Thursday we have got animation with Indie, swimming with Joyce and Rebound Therapy in the afternoon.
On Friday we can look forward to music with Janet.

Star Awards time!

Well done to Benjamin who gets a star award for putting on a super puppet show at drama. Clare brought in a puppet for Benjamin to use and everybody enjoyed the show. Thank you Benjamin, and thank you to Clare.

Liam received a star award for walking to swimming last week, congratulations Liam!

Alexander also walked to swimming last week and he done very well to get into the pool as well. Keep it up Alexander.

Caine got a star award for being confident at the farm. While Ross got a Star Award for swimming this week and Kyran is awarded this week’s Star Baker for his skill and concentration in cooking class when he created his toy soldier shortbread, great job Kyran.

Again, the Term song for assembly is ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ by The Beatles.
