A Cultured Evening
Last week we invited parents into our school for a very cultured evening.
Each class presented a form of their learning from the term. Oak class started the evening with a brilliant presentation on the sights and sounds of Buddhism.
This was followed by Holly class who delivered an interactive drama session showcasing their acting skills. Daksha, Class Teacher of Pine class, then gave a presentation on maths weight where we all had to guess the weight of different objects.
Jason, on behalf of Birch class spoke about the history of badminton - learning how to play the sport has been a focus for his class this term.
Willow class presented an interactive live mural making process where we got the chance to get creative.
Ash class described how they have been getting fit this term using the track in the playground. They use a posting system where pupils have a lanyard with a peg for each lap they plan to complete pegged onto it. After each lap around the track the person puts a peg into a box.
Elder class finished the evening with a fitting performance of the Virginia Reel. Thank you to everyone who was involved in our Culture night it was a fun and educational evening!
