Re-Engage Afternoon Tea at New Struan

On Monday 9th December New Struan held a festive afternoon tea for those who attend the Re-Engage group.

It was a lovely afternoon with lots of tea and coffee, home baking from the pupils, live entertainment from pupil Jack who played the keyboard whilst everybody mingled and conversed to the festive atmosphere.

Re-Engage, formerly known as ‘Contact the Elderly’, are a charity who are committed

to combating social isolation and loneliness amongst older people. Their motto is
‘Bringing generations together’ and was exactly what took place at the festive afternoon
tea as the pupils and elderly shared chit chat.

This was the first afternoon tea at the school with Re-Engage but the group will be attending the school’s Christmas Market on 18th December for more festive fun.
