Pre/Post Diagnostic Sessions for autistic people, including those who are awaiting diagnosis and those who have had a diagnosis for a while, and any one supporting autistic people.
About Creatovators
Creatovators is a Social Enterprise with a passionate belief that autistic people have a lot to offer. By providing help and support to them, their families, professionals, companies and organisations Creatovators are seeing significant success stories as a result of their supported individual led, “can do” approach.
Their services, which have grown from a unique blend of training, personal experience and user’s input, include LEGO®-based Therapy, a monthly playscheme for the whole family, training sessions and professional services such as consultations.
On Thursday, 9th June, Creatovators will have Catherine Davison (Adult Day Services Manager) and the Local Area Coordinators from East Dunbartonshire Council talking about the support they offer and some exciting new developments within the authority. Catherine oversees the Autism Strategy in the council and both she and the Local Area Coordinators have had a key role in pushing forward the autism agenda on behalf of our families.
On Thursday, 16th June, the focus will be on lived experiences. Heather Wright, a retired Occupational Therapist with over 40 years experience, who delivers a Training Programme on Autism, will be sharing with you, as will Angela and Daniel Mui, a mother and son (Daniel is autistic).
Creatovators' popular "Panel Time" will have speakers and people from the autism community answering your questions, and you can catch up with support available during "Blether and Browse Time".
