Give a gift in your will
Scottish Autism funds many additional activities and facilities through income received.
If we did not receive such generous support from those who support our work these activities simply would not be available.
How your gift will help
Here are some of the activities we have been able to provide due to the generosity of others:
£10,000 Click and Connect online groups
£10,000 Sensory room
£10,000 Outdoor Gym
£6,900 Social Groups, annual costs
£4,000 Music therapy sessions
£4,000 Technology (for individuals we support)
£2,530 Healthy eating/gaining cooking skills
In the last ten years Scottish Autism has received over £600,000 from generous gifts left in wills. This has allowed us to both plan for the future and provide everyday services for individuals we support.
Scottish Autism is extremely sympathetic regarding how your gift will be used. If you would like your gift used for a specific purpose or in a certain area please let us know and where possible we will ensure your wishes are carried out.
What your legacy funding can do
We developed AutNav, an innovative app, due to the generosity of legacy funding, in partnership with the National Autistic Taskforce. This app brings together an individual's favourite content, to use technology to pursue interests and keep in touch with friends and family more easily.
The app was developed in line with the vision of the late Dr Dinah Murray who was passionate about supporting the rights of autistic individuals with profound communication difficulties, often supported in long-term residential care. Dr Murray saw AutNav as a method to enable them to communicate their interests, and interact with friends and wider family.

Remembering a loved one
Heirs can make a gift to charity in the name of a loved one up to two years following their passing.
If you would like to inform us of your intention to leave a gift in your will to Scottish Autism, or if you have any questions, please contact us in the strictest confidence.

Gifts in wills provide vital funding to allow us to develop new projects, like AutNav, and help us to both plan for the future and provide everyday services for the individuals we support.
