Fife One Stop Shop

The Fife One Stop Shop is based in a central location in Kirkcaldy where we offer autistic individuals, their families and professionals information and advice about autism as well as the kinds of support services that are available locally.

Our experienced and friendly One Stop Shop team provide a confidential service offering:

  • One-to-one appointments

  • Support and advice to access services in the community

  • Parent groups

  • Workshops for individuals, parents/carers, families and professionals

As well as acting as an information hub, the One Stop Shop works closely with other groups and agencies, collaborating to understand and respond to the needs of the autism community.

One Stop Shop changes in response to COVID-19

What we can do during Covid-19 - lockdown

  • We continue to provide support by email and phone
  • We can offer telephone support by appointments
  • We aim to respond to all enquiries within 3-5 working days

What we can’t do during Covid-19 lockdown

  • We are unable to offer face to face (1:1)
  • We are unable to deliver our groups and workshops

Contact us by Email: fifeoss@scottishautism.org or Tel: 01592 645350

Our approach is based on an understanding that autism is multidimensional and that each individual and family may face unique challenges. As varying levels of support are required, we will provide information and advice that is meaningful to each individual person.

The Fife One Stop Shop is funded by Fife's Health and Social Care Partnership.

Recruiting Parents to Feedback on Fife's Neurodevelopmental Questionnaire (F-NDQ)

NHS Fife are now recruiting parents of children with an autism diagnosis or waiting for an autism assessment to feedback on their draft developmental history gathering tool Neurodevelopmental Questionnaire  (F-NDQ)

Taking part will involve completing a draft of the new developmental history questionnaire, having a video call to discuss what it was like to complete and how it could be improved.
