Respite Services
At Scottish Autism, we focus on supporting autistic individuals through the whole life journey and enabling them to have fulfilling life experiences.
Respite Services
Service Update
Respite will be available soon at our new service Founders House in Alloa. This will be a one bedroomed, self-contained flat offering 24hr support to adult and individuals with learning disabilities, opening Winter 2019.
Last year following a review of our service provision at Clannalba Respite and Transitional Assessment Service in Biggar, Scottish Autism made the difficult decision to no longer provide respite at Clannalba. This review was carried out as the demand for respite had been reducing over the years with fewer individuals using the service.
Although we no longer provide respite support at Clannalba, the Main House has been converted to provide residential support to six autistic adults.
