Returning to School Facebook Live: Laura McConnell

Laura has been a primary school teacher in mainstream Scottish schools for over a decade, most recently in Behaviour Support and Support for Learning roles.  Prior to becoming a teacher, Laura worked in children’s additional support need services for a local authority and a charity. 

Laura was diagnosed with ADHD aged 32 and an Autism diagnosis followed after.  Since her diagnosis, Laura has written for numerous publications and spoken at a variety of  conferences and events about Autism, ADHD and Neurodiversity. She is passionate about inclusive education and improving knowledge, understanding and acceptance in the education sector.
