Right Click shorlisted for Digital Hero Awards
The awards are open to a public vote from now until the 25th September and there is a £5000 prize for each category winner, plus an additional £5000 for the overall winner.
Developed by our Director of Development, Charlene Tait, and our Autism Support Team, Right Click is a reliable resource that enables parents and carers to develop skills and strategies to support their young child or teenager. It also overcomes some of the challenges parents may have in accessing more traditional forms of support because it can be accessed from home, at a time that suits them and for no cost. Since being launched at the start of 2013, over 340 families have benefited from taking part in our online support programme with comments including: “It helped me understand autism through my son’s eyes” and “This is the most useful information targeted at our needs that I have had.”
As Right Click is funded solely by donations and fundraising, we would really appreciate it if you could support us in getting one step closer to the prize by voting for us. We are working towards the development of a new programme for women and girls on the autism spectrum and winning this award would go a long way towards the creation of this, allowing us to extend our support to even more people.
