Signing the Charter for Involvement
By signing up to the Charter we are making a commitment to put the standards outlined into practice across our organisation, encouraging those people we support to take control over the things that affect their lives. For Scottish Autism, involving the people who access our services in the support they receive is hugely important as this contributes towards a meaningful provision for each individual.
Jackie Latto, Director of Autism Services, said: ‘It was a pleasure to sign the Charter for Involvement on behalf of Scottish Autism. We always seek to involve the individuals we support in all aspects of their support, ensuring that they receive a strong and personalised service that is unique and valuable to them, so we were more than happy to sign the Charter and fully embrace its objectives.’
