Right Click Crowned Digital Hero!
The Digital Heroes Awards seek to find the most inspirational and creative individuals who are using technology for good. Our Director of Development, Charlene Tait, and our Autism Support Team were nominated for the award for their dedication to the development and continued work on the Right Click programme.
Right Click is an invaluable resource, providing advice and support to families when they need it most. The Internet can be overwhelming and Right Click enables parents and carers to access a reliable source of information where they can learn skills and strategies to support their child.
We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to vote for us in the awards. By winning our category we received a fantastic £5,000 to put towards the development of new Right Click programmes, allowing us to extend our support to even more people.
Since winning our category we have been busy filming a video to highlight Right Click and the positive impact it can have on people’s lives. This will be shown to the judging panel, who will decide which project will be crowned as the overall Digital Hero for the year. All will be revealed at a ceremony in the House of Commons later this month - wish us luck!
