Making a gift in your will
After you have met the needs of your family, you can leave a gift to Scottish Autism in your will so we can continue to help autistic people in the future. We use these gifts in many ways to enhance and extend the opportunities we offer to autistic individuals and their families.
Give a gift in your will
Scottish Autism funds many additional activities and facilities through income received.
If we did not receive such generous support from those who support our work these activities simply would not be available.
How your gift will help
Here are some of the activities we have been able to provide due to the generosity of others:
£100,000 Our Autism Advice Line, annual costs
£42,000 Right Click - our online support programme - annual costs
£10,000 Sensory room
£10,000 Outdoor Gym
£6,900 Social Groups, annual costs
£4,000 Music therapy sessions
£4,000 Technology (for individuals we support)
£2,530 Healthy eating/gaining cooking skills
In the last ten years Scottish Autism has received over £600,000 from generous gifts left in wills. This has allowed us to both plan for the future and provide everyday services for individuals we support.
Our Autism Advice Line, listed above, receives no government funding. Scottish Autism meets the cost of this service to ensure it is available when needed most by individuals looking for guidance and support.
Scottish Autism is extremely sympathetic regarding how your gift will be used. If you would like your gift used for a specific purpose or in a certain area please let us know and where possible we will ensure your wishes are carried out.
Free Will Service
Making a Will is one of the most important things that you can do to ensure that your family is taken care of when you are no longer here. With this in mind we have partnered with McClure Solicitors to offer our supporters a free Will writing service and a special price Power of Attorney service.
We would like to encourage all our supporters who don't already have a Will or if your circumstances have changed and you need advice to update your current Will, to consider this Free Will Writing Service. In doing so, you can plan for your and your family's future, and at the same time, we would be very grateful if you would consider making a donation in your Will to support the valuable work of Scottish Autism.
