Join us for our next Advice Line Live session on Monday 8th September 2025 at 7pm, streaming on our Facebook page. This month, our Advice Line team will be focusing on Support within School, to share guidance, insights, and answering your questions.

We will be taking some questions from the audience live, so don’t miss the chance to be part of the conversation.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The Advisors

Zofia

Zofia is our Community Advice Services Manager here at Scottish Autism. She has been with Scottish Autism for almost 5 years and has taken on a number of different roles within our community advice services. Zofia has worked within the third sector for a number of years working with and alongside autistic people and their families, through direct practice, project development and management roles.

In her current role, as Community Advice Services Manager, Zofia is responsible for, and leads with, Dundee Connections, the Fife One Stop Shop and it’s Flourish Programme, the National Advice Line and Get Set 4 Autism programme.

Zofia’s key interests encompass person centredness, encouraging autonomy and empowerment, that enables autistic people and their families to have their voices to be heard and understood.

Sarah-Louise

Sarah-Louise is our Senior Community Advisor at Scottish Autism and has worked with us in different capacities over the last three years, providing support and advice to autistic individuals, their families and staff teams within the organisation. Previous to this, Sarah-Louise worked with autistic children, young people and their families within educational settings and has become very aware of how environmental stress can impact on autistic individuals.

In her current role, Sarah-Louise oversees the daily running of the Advice Line, parent groups and Get Set 4 Autism. Sarah-Louise is particularly passionate about supporting families to create low stress environments for their loved ones, to improve well-being for autistic individuals and the family as a whole.

Kirsten

Kirsten has worked as a Community Advisor for the Scottish Autism Advice Line Team since September 2022. She comes from a teaching background where she worked as a Support for Learning Teacher with primary aged children with additional support needs for 15 years. She also ran a social enterprise for children and families affected by additional support needs and has worked on various projects raising awareness of neurodiversity in schools.

Kirsten also has personal experience of neurodiversity and feels privileged to work in such an understanding and supportive team.
