National Autism Mapping Project
The National Autism Mapping Project allows people affected by autism in Scotland the opportunity to detail their experience of some key provisions such as employment, diagnosis, education and health. It will also advance the vision of the Scottish Strategy for Autism by mapping out existing support services throughout Scotland. This will enable us to identify where services are falling short and subsequently make recommendations on improvements to the Scottish Government. In order to do this, two questionnaires have been developed: one questionnaire is designed specifically for individuals with autism or Asperger's Syndrome and the second questionnaire is designed specifically for carers.
These questionnaires will look at how current services are working together to meet the needs of people with autism or Asperger's Syndrome and establish how well communities are supporting those whose lives are affected by autism.
As an organisation that recognises the importance of individuals being involved in the decisions that affect them, we encourage all those who can complete the questionnaire to do so. To complete a questionnaire, please use the links below:

Survey for carers of people with autism or Asperger's Syndrome:https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AutismMappingParentsCarers
The questionnaires will remain open until the end of the project (April/May)so that we are able to gather as many experiences as possible. Please note questionnaires need to be fully completed at one time, it is not possible to close the questionnaire and complete it at a later date.
