Emily Lovegrove is a psychologist who specialises in researching the topic of bullying – what it is, why it happens and how to defuse it.

Emily is also a lecturer and leader of many workshops on anti-bullying strategies.  She runs her own private practice ‘The Bullying Doctor’ where she works with autistic children and young adults on various aspects of why autistic people might be more likely to be bullied, looking at issues such as disfigurement, race, religion, colour, and neurodivergence such as autism.
