Lockdown update 11th May

As of today, 11th May, the Scottish Government has lifted the restrictions on going out to exercise, and now everyone can go outside more than once a day to go for a walk, a run or a cycle.  This means autistic people can continue to leave their homes more than once a day and travel beyond their local area if it is essential to do so for specific exercise. Everyone should continue to observe social distancing measures and stay at least 2m away from anyone who is not a your carer, the person you are caring for, or a member of your household.

This is an evolving situation and the Scottish Government guidance around restrictions will change, and as it does, we will try to clarify this.

You can print or access a digital version of the Scottish Autism Covid-19 Alert card here www.scottishautism.org/advice-line-plus.

The Covid-19 Alert Card allows for personalisation to your own situation and can be completed either by yourself or with the help from a carer. Find more on our website.
