Understanding my ASD diagnosis
This course for individuals with an Autism diagnosis, age 17 years+, without a Learning Disability.
This is a 5 week programme. Each session lasts 2.5 hours, covering a different topic each week:-
What is ASD-feelings about diagnosis, Sensory Issues, Anxiety, Relationships, Employment, Education and Transitions.
There is an optional opportunity for a 1:1 follow up session with an Autism Advisor at the end of the 5 weeks.

Understanding my Loved Ones ASD Diagnosis
This 2-day programmes is for the ‘Loved Ones’ of individuals with an Autism diagnosis, aged 17yrs+, without a learning disability.
Topics covered over the 2 sessions:- What is ASD, Sensory Issues, Anxiety, Relationships, Employment, Education and Transitions.

This 2.5 hour workshop is for professionals* looking for information about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
*(Professionals including volunteers and students working across the voluntary/care sector, also police, education and heath who would benefit from an understanding of ASD to support individuals they work with)
This workshop is a basic introduction to the Autism Spectrum covering:- the core characteristics, sensory processing, theories and includes an opportunity for discussion.

Parking at New Volunteer House
Important information before visiting the One Stop Shop in Kirkcaldy
The car park at New Volunteer House is for permit holders only. Please be aware that unless you are a Blue Badge holder, you cannot park here.
However, parking is available at Kirkcaldy Train Station, The Postings or there is time limited, on-street parking nearby. We are also only a short walk from Kirkcaldy Bus and Train Station.
