A 6 week programme for individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), covering a different topic each week, such as:
What is ASD, Sensory Issues, Anxiety, Relationships, Employment & Education and Transitions.

Intro to Autism - workshop for professionals
A free two hour workshop for professionals looking for information about Autism Spectrum Conditions. This workshop is a basic introduction which covers the theories around autism, sensory issues and includes an opportunity for discussion.
We have dates for 2019 “Introduction to Autism ” at New Volunteer House, Kirkcaldy.
All workshops are 9.30-11.30am.

What is Autism? For siblings
This 2 hour workshop is designed to enable siblings to gain a greater understanding of their brother or sister’s ASD.
These workshops are split into 7-10 and 11-13 year old groups and are for siblings without an ASD diagnosis.

Important information before visiting the One Stop Shop in Kirkcaldy
Parking at New Volunteer House:
The car park at New Volunteer House is now permit holders only. Fife Voluntary Action are hoping to have guest permits in the future but we haven't been issued any just now. If you have an appointment or if you are planning on dropping in please be aware that you cannot park in our car park or you will get a parking fine.
Parking is available at Kirkcaldy train station, The Postings shopping centre or there is time limited, on street parking nearby. We are also only a short walk away from Kirkcaldy bus and train station.
One Stop Shop meeting room:
We have changed meeting rooms at New Volunteer House and our new meeting room is just above the waiting room which is much closer to our staff offices. This means that our meeting room is now on the first floor. If you have mobility requirements please let a member of staff know before attending an appointment, drop in or group so that we can make arrangements for you.
